Enterprises

The primary objective of the Enterprise Programmee is to facilitate various Cooperatives within the Timbaktu Collective to expand livelihood options, increase revenue, and ensure profitability. This support benefits small-scale producers including smallholder farmers, women weavers, people with disabilities, savannah (forest) dwellers, landless laborers, and small ruminants.

The team guides various Cooperatives and production units in producing their goods with standardized protocols. They also secure necessary certifications and ensure legal compliance for each Cooperative. As part of these efforts, Timbaktu has been registered as a trademark. The products are promoted and marketed under the brands Timbaktu Organic, Timbaktu Natural, Timbaktu Artisanal, Timbaktu Herbal, Timbaktu Ethnovet, Timbaktu Crafts, Timbaktu Flora, Timbaktu Bush Camp, and Timbaktu Weaves. In the financial year 2023-24 Timbaktu Organic Vegetables was introduced, offering various perishables at the local level and gradually expanding to nearby states.

All the Timbaktu products are available to local consumers through outlets such as the Timbaktu Junction and the Timbaktu Shop, located near Chennekothapalli village and National Highway 44, as well as to nationwide  consumers through retail stores across the country. All products are produced with integrity, values and principles, guaranteeing they reach the customers with genuine care. The team’s commitment is to the betterment of both producers and customers.
