Enterprises

The objective of the Enterprise support initiative of the Collective is to expand livelihood options, enhance revenue and ensure profits for smallholder farmers and small-scale producers. 

It assists the various cooperatives/production units promoted by the Collective in developing brands like Timbaktu Organic, Timbaktu Weaves, Timbaktu Handcrafted Soap and Timbaktu Pickles. 

It also helps in articulating the related protocols and supports Dharani FaM Coop in anchoring the marketing of these products. Dharani sells these products through its retail unit ‘Timbaktu Shop,’ located at the intersection of Chennekothapalli village and National Highway 44, and through retail shops, events and fairs. 

The Collective also anchors the certification of the products of Dharani Cooperative through Participatory Guarantee System (PGS). In the Financial year 2022-23, Dharani accomplished sales of 5 crore.
